There have been numerous questions about KJo’s sexuality in general but his recent antics on his chat show Koffee with Karan have answered the question.

After seeing the episode of Koffe with Karan with Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, I can easily sum up KJo in 4 words, TRASHY GOSSIP HUNTING BITCH. The manner in which words were literally being put into the two actresses mouth, was amazing and how the two dumb lasses were responding to his “questions” specifically about Ranbir Kapoor, just goes on to show their stupidity. They have practically done nothing in their careers so far while the Kapoor Lad is going places with a few hits to his name.

This kind of attitude from a ace director like Johar was uncalled for since he knows the Kapoor’s (in this case Ranbir’s parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor) too well and have appeared on his show twice before. For KJo its anything for the sake of a few cheap laughs. but for these so called actresses, to malign a colleague’s reputation on national TV, is plain CRASS.

Now the whole Issue has resulted in heated exchange of words between two Kapoor families (Rishi vs Anil Kapoor).Johar on his part did not have the b@ll$ to apologize to Ranbir or his parents.

Imagine some actors from the gone by era fulfilling todays crazy requirements to be a complete actor…six pack abs, dancing skills,bla,bla,bla.

I just wish actors today concentrated more on their body of work rather than their body!

Raajneeti, though a rehash of the Godfather and Mahabharata in the modern time with Indian Political Circus as the backdrop has given a lot to the Indian voter to think about the next time they go to Vote.

Apart from the political campaigns and what goes behind the scenes in political parties, it shows the darker side of a human being, be it a Young Politician, the Suave looking Arjun Rampal’s character Prithvi Pratap or a Soft looking, person like Samar Pratap played by Ranbir Kapoor, who is about to complete his PHD and comes from United States to India for a family function. Be it Kartina Kaif who Plays Indu and is struggling with feeling from the brother she loves and the other one whom she get married to. Ajay Devgn’s life of hardships and to find his destiny and his character modeled on the Karna from Mahabharat and modern day Duryodhana played by Manoj Bajpayee who is fighting for his rights. It also showcases how manupalative Indian Media can be.

The only negative side is the Naseerudin Shah’s blink and you’ll miss role.

Personally I have never been a fan of Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpayee, but I can easily say that they have been great in the movie and that goes on to say that they should pick and choose their roles very carefully from now on.Its movies like these which can bring out the best in them.

Ranbir Kapoor proves once again that he’s born to act and the Kapoor family’s acting genes have not failed. The guy is simply AMAZING.

Nana Patekar’s role as the modern day Lord Krishna tells us how superb he is. He manipulates both sides according to the situation, till there is peace in the end.

Katrina’s Hindi is quiet improved and she must carry on the good work in her future projects.

Last but by no means the least, Ajay Devgn has shown time and again to the world how good an actor he is and one of the most consistent one’s as well. No one could’ve played the role of Karna with such élan.

GO WATCH THIS MOVIE PEOPLE, THERE’S NO REASON TO MISS THIS ONE.

I Still remember Vidya Sinha’s Girl Next Door looks from Rajni Gandha and Choti si baat and Jaya Bachchan’s perkiness from films like Guddi and Mili, Rekha’s beauty Sharmila Tagore’s dimples, Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra’s all round skills in comedy,drama,action and romance, Sanjeev Kapoor mesmerizing acting skills, comic skills of Mehmood Saab, Rajndenaath,Johnny Walker, directorial classics by Raj Kapoor, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Manmohan Desai, etc.

The 80′s and 90′s were still bearable with Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan,Salman Khan providing good entertainment to the masses but today seeing actors above 40 years of age romancing girls the age of their daughter or running to the gym for a dreamy body with six pack abs is sheer stupidity.

Comparing it with todays Filmy World of Kareena Kapoor’s size zero fetish, Lara Dutta’s Bikini, Hrithik Roshan’s six pack, Aamir Khan’s changing hairstyles in Dil Chata Hai or Ghajini, Rajpal Yadav’s cheap comedy and undigestable directorial skills of some of todays directors makes me SICK TO THE STOMACH!

 There are many Filmy families in Bollywood today, The Bachchan’s, the Deol’s, but none of them come even close to the “Real” First Family of Moviedom, and that is the Kapoor Family. Prithviraj’s Kapoor’s clan has lived to the expectations of everyone right from the avdent of this Khandaan. Prithviraj himself was a decent actor , Shashi and Shammi Kapoor gave many memorable performances and hits during their respective careers, But his eldest son Raj Kapoor was the person who immortalized the aura of the Kapoors.

Shammi Married an older woman and actress called Geeta Bali who he was madly in love with but after her death and a lot of provocation from his family and because of his young kids, he married a much younger Neela.

Shashi Kapoor had a very successful career and married a British girl,Jennifer Kendal(who is no more) and had three kids.Prithviraj Kapoor set up Prithvi Theater after and Sahshi Kapoor is still loving taking care of it day in day out with his daughter Sanjana.

There two lines from Raj Kapoor’s most ambitious project,”Mera Naam Joker” summed up his feelings for the industry and the masses producing one hit after the other under his R.K. Films Banner. His creative talent in movies like Satyam,Shivam, Sundaram and Raam Teri Ganga Maili was often subject of harsh criticism because of the “so called nudity”. His movies like Anari, Shree 420, Chori Chori, Aag, Aah, Jaagte Raho, Sangam, Barsaat,etc are classic.For me he was a much bigger star than Amitabh Bachchan. He was the real Show stopper, the real showman of Bollywood. He was a grand man who loved life king size.He was the guy who attracted the masses abroad, he was well recognized all over the world.

His kids by no means were duds. Rishi a.k.a. Chintu (extreme left) and Randhira.k.a. Daboo (extreme right) had their own fan following. Rishi had a breakthrough performance in Mera Naam Joker as the younger Raj Kapoor but with the super duper hit Bobby he ventured into mainstream cinema as an adult. While Randhir who made his debut much before  Rishi has many hits to his name like Ponga Pandit, Jawani Diwani, Raampur ka Lakshman, etc and had the honor of directing his grandfather and father in a movie in which he too starred called “Kal, Aaj aur Kal”

Rajeev a.k.a. Chimpoo (the one is white) the youngest of the lot did not have a successful career infront of the cameran but is good behind it like his father.

Rishi married a big star of her time Soniya a.k.a. Neetu Singh who had also been a child actor and a famous one at that.While Randhir too married an actress Babita Shivdasani when she was in her prime.

Raj Kapoor’s two daughters are married and well settled today. His grandchildren though are bearing the Kapoor Flame today. Karisma Kapoor (Lolo) is already a known face in Bollywood with a career spanning over a decade, Kareena (Bebo) has established herself as a good actress, while the latest entrant in Bollywood is Ranbir Kapoor (Rishi Kapoor’s son) who has just begun his promising journey.

These facts prove that Illustrious Kapoor’s are in fact the First Family of Bollywood. Collectively what they have done for the indian cinema no one has even come close to it and probably never will be.

Amitabh Bachchan is a damn good actor. In 1973 he found an able match in supremely talented Jaya Bhaduri. While Bachchan was riding high in the 70′s with great hits like Zanjeer,Amar Akbar Anthony,Sholay,Deewar,etc. Jaya was the girl next door with Mili, Guddi,Jawaani Deewani,Bawarchi, Chupke Chupke,etc. They had two kids. Through the years the Bachchan aura did not fade one bit as Amitabh continued to rule the roost. Their daughter Shweta settled for a happy married life but son Abhishek decided to follow his parents footsteps and ventured in to acting. Like one cannot judge a book by its cover, one can never tell if the son of a talented father will also be able to match him. Such was the case with Abhishek who has never been able to fulfill the expectations around him.

The so called “aura” of the Bachchans is nothing mere HYPE, created by their PR team and our media.

The Indian media has always been in awe of the Amitabh Bachchan and why shouldn’t they since he’s a great actor but not quiet the greatest. By calling him the greatest why do they forget that the height of his greatness can only be measured with his performances and what brought out the best in him were his co-actors.

Had Nirupa Roy not played his on-screen Mom so many times, would he be able to deliver his performance as the angry young man who is fighting with God for his mothers life, would the Lamboo have been able to deliver his best in Coolie without the Tingoo Rishi Kapoor,would he have been able to deliver the performance of a lifetime in Deewar without Shashi Kapoor as his brother, would Anthony alone have made the movie hit without Amar and Akbar by his side, what I mean to say is that his co-actors have played a vital part in his success which should not be forgotten.

I am in no way saying that the family does not deserve their fame but by calling Amitabh the greatest one should not undermine the efforts of actors like Raj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar,Sanjeev Kumar, Dharmendra, Rajesh Khanna, etc. and by calling Aishwarya the actress of the decade, lets not forget the performances of actresses like Priety Zinta and Kajol.

Dharmendra in fact has been often been the butt of jokes for our “so called Radio Jockey’s” and “comedians” for a long time with the pet favorites being  “Mausiji” (from Sholay) and “Kutte main tera khoon pee jaaoonga”. Imitating one for fun is one thing but to take cheap pot shots at a great and respectable actor  and deliberately poking fun is plain sick.Even his sons are not spared, especially Sunny who is good actor like his father, but has been overlook by big banners time and again.

Apne - United we stand

Bobby on the other hand was never considered as an actor, despite giving small but powerful hits like Barsaat, Gupt, Ajnabee,Bichoo and Badal. Not to forget a fighting performance as Bhagat Singh.

Just because they do not get involved in brawls or fights with co-actors, and just because they don’t raise their voices and keep a low profile, does it give the media people the right to poke fun at them?

And mind you- Dharmendra was a much bigger actor than the so called Shehenshah of Bollywood, Mr.Amitabh Bachchan.I am in no way saying that Mr.Bachchan is a bad actor but think about it, Dharam Ji never got his due, despite doing brilliant work over the years.

Instead, he has to face the humiliation of being called a thief, a murderer, and has to witness wrongdoings of a society full of sadistic / hypocritic people as he moves from one flat to another…all in one night.

Never has any other movie been so vocal and powerful in its message that in reality the city is a jungle and we, the “city dwellers” are the real animals. We are not moved by anything, niether innnocence nor  simplicity, instead we prefer to stay on with the masks we wear, sheilding our real faces from the other animals.
